Pick a butter, any butter.... Now, what are you going to do with it??? Broadly speaking, the answer would be the same across our entire range of activated nut butters, although there are some more perfect matches than others (in my opinion).
- Spread on sliced banana or apple - to add a more longer-lasting energy boost to your simple fruit snack. (Gemma's opinion - Pecan Butter or ABC!!)
- Add to smoothies - a spoonful or two of your favourite nut butter will thicken and add protein and substance to any smoothie (Gemma's opinion - Cashew or Cashew/Coconut Butter are perfect here. But then, so is Almond and ABC).
- Add to bliss balls - these wonderful snacks can always benefit from some nut butter added. It makes them smoother, stick together really well, and also of course boosts the protein and healthy fat content.
- Top off your morning muesli - add a spoonful of nut butter to your bowl of muesli in the morning - it was make the whole milk/yoghurt thing creamier and thicker, as well as adding all that protein (Gemma's opinion - got to be Pecan again! Walnut also really good).
- Spread on toast or a cracker - pretty obvious, I know, but I thought I have to include it! (Gemma's opinion - they're all great!)
- In a Salad Dressing - I have to include this but it really only works for Macadamia Butter - but it works so very well!! It makes the dressing rich, smooth and creamy
- Add to Asian stir-fries - you can mix a spoonful or two of nut butter into any Asian sauce you are stir-frying with. Adds great substance and thickening (Gemma's opinion - Almond or Almond Coconut and Cashew or Cashew Coconut are perfect)
- Stuff a date! - literally, cut a date open , fill it with nut butter and close again.... Deeeeeelish! (Gemma's opinion - Walnut or Pecan)
- Make cookies - there are heaps of very easy and taste recipes out there using nut butter as a base. They always come out very smooth and tasty.
- Grab a spoon! - when in doubt grab a spoon and dig in!
